How do I create a Budget?

*Budgets are not available on the Web version yet. 

Android:

1. Go to the Main Menu and tap on Budgets
2. You can either create a periodic Budget for regular transactions or a one time budget for special occasions your business might go through
3. Tap on  '+' in the bottom right-hand corner to add a new Budget
4. Fill in the details of the Budget, make sure that you assign Labels to it and to your records so that they can be properly recognized by the system.
5. You can also set up Notifications at this step, so you receive an in-app notification when your budget is overspent or at risk of overspending.

iOS:

1. Go to More then Budgets
2. You can either create a periodic Budget for regular transactions or a one time budget for special occasions your business might go through
3. Tap on the '+' at the top-right 
4. Fill in the details of the Budget, make sure that you assign Labels to it and to your records so that they can be properly recognized by the system.
5. You can also set up Notifications at this step, so you receive an in-app notification when your budget is overspent or at risk of overspending.

Tip for Android users only: You can choose to display Board's Budgets and other data beginning on any day of the month you choose. Go into the Main Menu > Settings > Advanced Settings > Initial day of the month to change this setting. 
iOS device doesn't have this function yet.
